Seven out of the eight fragrances stolen were new and unused - Chanel No 5, Coco, Britney Spears, Lacoste, Burberry, Joop and Jean Paul Gaultier.

The break-in happened between Wednesday, November 12, and Monday, November 17.

Acting Detective Inspector Jason Davies, of Neath Port Talbot CID, said: "We are appealing to witnesses who saw anyone attend the address between those dates to come forward with information.

"We also want to hear from anyone who is offered any of the stolen property for sale."

Tonight, he goes for a national title when the girls team competes in the inaugural Nike Track Nationals at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

"Winning this would be the icing on top of the cake," said Toukene, who led the girls to Group AAA state indoor and outdoor titles this past school year. "It would be great."

The meet features the nation's top 12 boys and girls teams . The Bruins will compete in the 100 meters, 100 hurdles, 400, 800, mile, long jump, high jump, shot put and discus. They don't have anyone entered in the pole vault. The training has been difficult at times, but the trip to the West Coast is a great reward for their effort. Nike is paying for airfare, lodging and meals.

The team also will attend the Prefontaine Classic, one of the premier track meets in the country.

"This is a great honor and we know we deserve it," said Gray, who was state runner-up in the 100 hurdles. "And to win the national title would mean a lot. It would mean we're doing something right here. It also would be better than winning the state titles."
