CLINTON - Several local dignitaries will be honored when the 34th annual Leprechaun Parade and Convention is held Saturday, March 13. The parade assembles at 11:30 a.m. at Elks Lodge on School Street. At noon, the parade steps off and marches to town hall, where the convention will be held.

Shillelagh Awards
Shawn Carr was nominated by several people for his kindness and generosity. He has worked at the soup kitchen for several years and he and his family provide hot meals for those in need.
Paul O'Brien was nominated for his kind treatment of others, from his alter boy days to his military service and his time at Gould's Men's Shop.
James "Recycle" O'Malley was nominated for his tireless work at the recycling center and his helpfulness to others.
Mary A. Lavelle was nominated for her work as a school teacher and for raising five children on her own after the death of her husband. She is "the essence of Irish motherhood," and will be awarded a walking stick.
Peter and Patricia Joyce are both from Ireland and have been a welcome addition to the community since their arrival in 1982.
Tim Friend, the owner of Biagio's Grille in Worcester, is an active fundraiser for many charities and is a strong supporter of Friendly House and the Boys' Club.
replica hublot watches Kathy Notaro Baird was nominated for her "cheerful disposition," and is credited with caring for her brothers and sisters while her mother worked. She is married to Former Clinton Detective Franny Baird. She volunteers at the Diabetes Clinic at Leominster Hospital.
Clip on charms Christopher Dziczek is a decorated Marine veteran and devoted his life to his daughter and to helping area veterans. He worked hard to obtain benefits and services for veterans.
Bo Dombrowski is a mother touched by the tragic loss of her son. She works to bring suicide awareness to the community. She has raised thousands of dollars for her cause and sponsors a booth at the Clinton Olde Home Day.
Mary McGovern is the "epitome of Irish motherhood." She moved to the United States from Ireland at 19, married and raised four children.
Kevin Duffy has worked as a laborer and treasurer for the Mass. Laborer's Union Local 243.
James Fogarty has spent the past 35 years serving as a Mass. State Trooper and is a lieutenant and station commander at the Holden barracks.
Terry and Cathy Doherty were nominated for their willingness to help anyone in need and fundraising for worthy causes.
David Prosser has influenced hundreds of lives during his career as a teacher. He has put in much time volunteering for the Meals on Wheels program for the elderly and has served the Clinton AOH.
Rev. Tomasz Borkowski is the Polish priest who has become endeared to those he served as pastor of the Jasna Gora and Holy Rosary parishes. He has been instrumental in establishing a food pantry and day care services.
Diane Philbin has given her time to the senior center, St. Vincent De Paul Society and WHEAT.
Robert W. Grady Sr. has held a number of town posts, both as a volunteer and public official. At 90, he is the last surviving member of the Burditt Hill Celtics, a semi-pro softball team.
