LOOKING at aspects of how we live our lives, M&S experts predict that we will be making space for a sanctuary within our homes this year.

"In the home," says Sally, "2010 is the year of the kitchen. Make sure you have a great table which will give the room a focal point as well as having some statement glassware and china to make everyday dining special."

"Think scented candles, fine room mists, delicious body lotions and frothy bath creams as well perfume worn it in the traditional way.
"Classic fragrances, such as rose and lavender, will be particular favourites."
