A mother and daughter are making a sparkling success importing hand-made jewellery and handbags from all over the world.
Kathleen and Jayne McKeown have launched Tinkerbells (correct) Treasures from their Jarrow home to sell jewellery and bags at women's party nights, bridal fayres, shops and fundraising evenings.
Kathleen said: Replica Suhali leather Bags Monogram Denim "We have not been in business long but the response we have received has been fantastic. People love the style and choice and know that each piece is different."
They import them from Peru, India and the USA.
Jayne said: "My mum and I used to go shopping and
embroidered patches were fed up of finding the same old products, so we decided to take the next step."
Tinkerbells sought business advice from enterprise agency Tedco and put together a business plan, which helped it secure a start-up grant and loan from the South Tyneside Economic Development Department.
Tinkerbells Treasures holds its launch party at Springs Health Club, South Shields, on Friday, April 29, from 5pm.
