SQUATTERS yesterday invaded the former grace-and-favour home where David Blunkett carried out his secret affair with a married lover.
Police were powerless to act as the gang clambered through one of the luxury pad's bullet-proof windows to declare occupancy.
The pounds 4million property has been empty since the ex-Home Secretary left in March 2006 - a year after he resigned from the Government over the nannygate affair.
Speaking from the home's opulent dining room, defiant ringleader Mark Guard, Gucci Hobo Bags Replica 45, said: "This house has been empty for years. I'll look after it better than the Government has. I'm even making squatters take off their shoes to keep the white carpets clean."
Blunkett is thought to have carried out his affair with Kimberly Quinn at the flat in London's exclusive Belgravia. The squatters say under Section 6 of the Criminal Justice Act 1977 they cannot be evicted by force without going through the courts - which could take months.
Around four sea glass Fashion Jewelry squatters traipsed in yesterday afternoon including a musician, artist and Big Issue seller. Spanish barman Fernando Romero, 23, said: "I'm living like a millionaire."

Mark, who says he has invaded up to 27 vacant properties, invited the Mirror into the home. The rooms were mostly bare. He added: "There are 312 properties in Belgravia left empty by anonymous off- shore people. I usually only take them. But 13% of Crown Estate properties are unused. I threatened six months ago to start targeting these if they do not put them to good use.
"So I am putting nurses, firemen, teachers and any good, hard- working people who need a room in here."
